Wildlife of the Nillumbik Shire
An environmental documentary showcasing many of the wonderful Indigenous animals and plants found throughout the Nillumbik Shire and exploring the essential relationships they share in maintaining healthy ecosystems. A significant portion of the footage was filmed in the Dunmoochin area. This documentary was created by Michael Smith as part of his residency at the Dunmoochin Foundation.

Statement of Purpose
Our mission is to protect and enhance the natural ecosystems in the Dunmoochin area. This is achieved by our passionate volunteers dedicating time and resources to understanding the local flora and fauna, conserving habitat for native animals, and reducing the impact of pest and weed species.
